Bob Broadwater

American Military History

Civil War expert Bob Broadwater will introduce us to the "Luckiest Regiment in the Army of the Potomac," the 137th Pennsylvania Volunteers, the story told through the diary of Cpl. John A. Rhode.  The 137th saw action in many of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War, surviving the hostilities with only one combat casualty.  Mr. Broadwater is the award winning author of over twenty books and articles on all our nation's military campaigns, from the Revolution to WWII.
