January 19, 2012 Dr. Michael G. Farrow Blair County Theatres
Dr. Michael G. Farrow, recipient of the Blair County Historical Society Excellence in Historic Preservation and Heritage award in 2011, retired geneticist recently returned to hometown Altoona, is presently authoring a book on the theatres of Altoona and Blair County - 125 theatres to date, from 1848 to the present. He was recently was elected to a three-year term to the Board of Trustees of the Blair County Historical Society.
