Author Dennis McIlnay presents his new book

One Man's Journey into a River's Tragic Past

This 300-page book is a documentary of the author’s float trip

down the 100-mile Juniata River in the Summer of 2001.

It includes eight accounts of important people and

events on the Juniata in the Colonial Period.

Forty photographs of the Juniata are in the book

as well as images of rare maps and

documents from the 1600s and 1700s.
