NEWTON, MRS. CARRIE, wife of George W., died at the Altoona hospital, November 30, aged 27 years, 5 months. Cause of death: tumor.

STALL, WILLIAM G., one of the best known contractors in this section of the state, died November 14, of gangrene at the Altoona hospital whither he had gone for treatment some days ago. He was aged 71 years and resided in this city.
STATLER, MRS. ANNIE E., widow of Samuel Statler, died at her home, 1011 ½ Chestnut avenue, August 11, aged 66 years; stomach trouble.
STAYER, MRS. ELIZABETH, mother of Dr. A. S. Stayer, of this city, died February 14, at her home in Roaring Spring, aged 72 years and 10 months; complication of diseases.

TEUFEL, CHARLES, son of Joseph Teufel, 103 Crawford avenue, died in Homeopathic hospital, Pittsburg, aged 20 years; malarial fever.
THOMAS, FUNS REUBEN, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. P., died January 23, at home in Tyrone, aged 7 years and 9 months; pneumonia.

TIERNEY, DR. JOHN LENOX, dentist, died January 26, at Clarendon Hotel, aged 43 years, 6 months and 23 days. Had recently returned from Montpelier, France, where he had practiced his profession.
TIGHE, PATRICK, died March 10, suddenly, at his home, 1217 Seventeenth avenue, aged 66 years and 24 days.
TILLERY, MRS. AMANDA, a respected colored woman, wife of Harry Tillery, died November 17, at home, 2302 Ninth avenue, of cancer of the heart.
TILSON, MRS. CAROLINE, mother of Joseph, of this city, died February 2, at home, in Sinking Valley.
TOMLINSON, MRS. VICTORIA, a daughter of Ludwig Hartle, this city, died July 29, in West Penn hospital, Pittsburg, aged 29; stomach trouble.
TONER, ALEXANDER C., died November 25, at his home in Tyrone. He was one of the oldest and most respected citizens in the Central City.
TOPPER, KATIE, daughter of J. J. and Ella M., died January 3 at 1502 Nineteenth street, aged 6 years, 10 months and 2 days; of consumption.
