BCGS provides a newsletter to its membership on a quarterly basis. It is produced by a staff of volunteers from a variety of sources. Each issue contains information concerning Society activities, primary source material, various Blair County records such as newspaper abstracts and naturalizations. An update of the member surname interest list is provided in each issue. Since these are a valuable information resource, all back issues are kept in inventory for sale to the public.
Member submissions to the newsletter are welcomed, but may be edited for length and content. Please email your material as a Word .doc attachment or in the body of an email to
